An ode to Alber Elbaz

I have always loved Alber Elbaz, the designer of Lanvin. He puts humor in his sketches as well as in his clothes.
Last holiday when I was in Paris I had the chance to buy the 10th anniversary book by Alber Elbaz. It is a beautiful book which shows the whole process from a blank paper to a fashion show. So here is a little sneak peek into the world of Alber Elbaz.

First picture is a sketch from Alber Elbaz for the collaboration with H&M and the other are pictures of the book made by me.

Purple chic

Elegant pending flowers in all shades of purple and violet, a blowing skirt and royal pastries are things in life that give you a posh and chic feeling.

Lunch with sunflowers

The drawing I made today goes with a photo from Alix, the Cherry Blossom Girl; a perfect lunch in the grass. I replaced the grass with hundreds of sunflowers. ;) Two things for a perfect summer feeling.

You should have a look at Alix's blog, it's amazing!

Drawing by me, perfect lunch from The Cherry Blossom Girl and a field of sunflowers from CharlesFred.

Beau Bon Paris

At the end of my holiday in France I went to Paris again. Everytime I'm there, I'm overwhelmed by the beauty of the city. It surprises me each and everytime.

Pictures by me: Old sign in Courances, View from the Promenade Plantée, me at the Palais Royal, a Beetle in Paris, Balenciaga and Comme des Garçons at Les Docks (you really should go there!) and good old Eiffel Tower. Enchanting!
