I am so extremely busy at the moment. My schoolwork goes on and on and on. I felt I needed to post something which brings calmness to me. Snow. 

That moment when you wake up, look through your window and see everything is white. Oh, it's just a magical feeling. It can go on and on and on...

Cut to pieces

Do you remember my very first post? I showed you a few of my fabrics. The one at the bottom has been my favourite all the time. A few days ago I cut this treasure into pieces...

Within some weeks I can show you the final result but here is already a sneak peek!

Let's celebrate!

When I heard about the collaboration between Ladurée and Lanvin I was really excited. I love Ladurée and I love Lanvin even more! Luckily my mother was in Paris last weekend and she got hold of a beautiful box with macarons designed by Alber Elbaz. You may have noticed the picture on my Instagram already. ;) 

Anyway, I thought this collaboration deserved a little celebration so I made this post with all shades of pink and red, hearts and giantic bows.

Autumn inspiration

Autumn is coming and I like it.

On the street

These are some of my favourite street style pictures. I love the vibrant colours and prints! It looks as if everybody has so much fun. The last picture confirms that pretty well! ;)

Missoni

This is the dress I made a week ago. I bought the amazing Missoni fabric on the weekly fabric market in Utrecht. I'm so lucky to have that closeby. All I have to do is take my bike and cycle to the city center, which only takes me 10 minutes. :)

Air and ink

Two strange silhouettes. The first picture shows a beautiful dress made by Hussein Chalayan. In the second picture you can see my sister wearing a dress I made from newspapers. 

The last dress became a real garment which you can see in this post.

Knitted

Here is a new post! I had two exams this week so it took a little more time than usual... For now here are some pictures of knits. It's slowly getting colder, which means I am thinking of warm, woolen and cozy knits in which you can hide yourself.

Silhouettes

This is a little project I did for school. We had to make some portraits of classmates and choose one to elaborate. I chose for a profile I made because I liked the silhouet of it. I decided to make dresses with honeycomb paper which turned out pretty well.

Clogs

 I love clogs. They give a Scandinavian touch which I really like. I chose to pair them up with flower pants and some pastels to give it a soft feeling. Everyone says clogs are uncomfortable, but these aren't (even with a heel haha)!

End of summer

Meteorological autumn started a few days ago, but it still feels like summer here. The weather can switch any moment so this post is dedicated to the end of this beautiful summer. 

All kinds of citrus fruits on a table, a beautiful cake, a sweet Stella McCartney dress and some fresh lemon juice is a way to do this.

Fashion weeks are coming...

New York Fashion Week almost starts and London, Milan and Paris will follow. 

The shows inside can only be attended by the happy few. For the  lucky ones who are attending: ENJOY! Fortunately there is a show outside as well which is open to everyone: the street style show of bloggers, fashion journalists and other fashion lovers.
